Go Northeast (GONE) Snowmobiling is a tourism and planning platform for amateur and experienced snowmobilers. Planning a trip can be a frustrating endeavor, especially when you are unfamiliar with a new destination. Every snowmobile region around New England, New York, and Pennsylvania has unique attributes and much to offer the community. Growing up in New England in a family of avid snowmobilers, I couldn’t wait for the first snowmobile trip when winter finally rolled around. As an adult, I still feel that same excitement. As always, the initial planning and getting to our destination was half the battle. The other half revolved around knowing where the trail systems started and ended, along with all the necessary gas stations, restaurants, and warming huts. Fast forward 30-plus years later, and we live in a technological world. Although social media and the internet are great planning tools, they can also become overwhelming. So many sites and so many different views, including Facebook posts. With a degree in travel and tourism, my vision has always been to create a one-stop shop, so to speak, for snowmobile enthusiasts. I hope my offerings on this site, social media sites, and guidebooks provide a foundation for readers to find what they need right at their fingertips and help build an easy and productive snowmobiling adventure for all to enjoy.
