REGION HIGHLIGHTS

Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail
The trail runs alongside the Missisquoi River, providing beautiful views of rushing rapids, calm pools, active farms, and Jay Peak. Along the way, the landscape transitions between sunlit farmland, shaded woodlands, and peaceful wetlands, creating a pleasant and varied experience. The Enosburg Park & Ride is located off 178 Pearl Street (overnight parking is permitted).

Jay Peak Area
(nearby in Orleans County but connects via Franklin)
Incredible mountain views and deep snowpack make Jay Peak a top destination. Trails from Franklin County connect to this area, where you can ride near the ski resort.

Lake Carmi State Park
While the park itself has limited winter access, the surrounding trails provide beautiful views of frozen Lake Carmi — a great spot for a scenic break.
